Critical element of our approach is the so-called “Action planning” or the process to organise the company’s transformation or post-merger integration (PMI).  

Through the years we’ve learned to focus on four important elements:

Articulate the vision and business benefit of the plan (growth strategy, new business, merger

Develop an effective transformation or integration plan – including target objectives (and measurements (e.g. milestones, synergies, etc)

Assign a dedicated transformation or integration team – that focusses on the execution of the plan and is not losing focus on day-to-day operations

Over-emphasise people – people are sensible to change and reorganisations. Work with the HR team and business leaders to recognise and resolve cultural issues early; communicate the impact of the transaction in depth
